Mmm... Raw cheddar cheese infected with E. coli, yummy. Make sure to wash it down with your "raw water".

LOL apparently the company has company with the (alleged) E.Coli cheese has declined to recall it from the market. I guess they feel like people getting sick (and maybe dying) of E.coli won't affect their brand value?
County of LA: "...The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued guidance to consumers, retailers, and foodservice providers regarding the outbreak. The FDA recommended that RAW FARM, LLC voluntarily remove their raw cheese products from the market, but the company has declined...."
This sounds like it's GREAT for your brand name! /s
County of LA: "Watch for symptoms of an E. coli infection, such as diarrhea (sometimes bloody), stomach cramps, or vomiting, if you or a family member consumed RAW FARM-brand cheddar cheese. Seek medical attention if symptoms develop. Children, older adults, pregnant people, and those with weakened immune systems are particularly at higher risk of severe illness if infected."
I first learned about "Raw Farm" / "Organic Pastures" via reporting by @sarahtaber : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piB_DdO2D6I
I continue to wonder why the California state government has not shut them down yet.

I drank raw milk for most of my youth, we got it directly from my uncle's milk tank. We didn't know any better.
Raw milk is not safe. That's why we began pasteurizing it to begin with. It lasts longer before souring and is safer for everyone involved. Yes, most people never have a problem. But some die.
I love the people who think drinking raw cow's milk is somehow more 'natural'. I don't think nature intended us to drink squeezing from herd animals.
As @sarahtaber detailed in that piece, convincing people to pay a premium for milk laced with e. coli has been a long-running and quite deliberate con.
By operators who apparently do not care how many people they hurt.

Exactly, how is drinking another species' breast milk natural?
shut 'em down, that's the rules
