you should know, everyone should know, and not to detract from Bryan, he's an ok guy, HOWEVER, be aware that every cafe you visit with someone in a corner strumming a guitar, every pub with a local band, every damn venue in Canada pays out to SOCAN without recording anything about what was actually played, and so royalty payments they pay are ultimately added to what the "best sellers" like Bryan are paid.
