Two of my favorite genres are natural disasters and sharks. Yes, it's true, "cultured" is my middle name. That's why all the kombucha.

Anyway, Netflix has put these two genres together, and added Phoebe Dynevor and Djimon Hounsou. I put this in our family chat and SHRIEKED, lol. It's called Thrash and it involves a hurricane that floods a coastal town, resulting in a sort of...wet, toothy, street buffet...

@hollie isnt Sharknado those exact things?

@amyworrall Okay, please understand that I am fully aware of how what I'm about to say, sounds. But I'm going to say it anyway:

Sharknado isn't realistic. 😂

There isn't a REAL natural disaster where sharks are swept up in a seawater cyclone and circled through urban centers. I mean, that's 0% possible and 100% ridiculous. (Again: I DO hear myself, lol...)

But this one is more "real". Actual seawater flooding a small town in a hurricane, is unfortunately very real. And actual sharks finding their way in, could _theoretically_ happen (not likely, obviously, but that's why it's a movie). Basically the movie is way more fun when it's 80% possible and 20% ridiculous, which this preview seems to be.

@hollie I get where you’re coming from!
