wasn't there a kinda shitty movie about this? ex machina or something?
so if you sexually harass your AI assistant at work, does it report you to HR? asking for all the guys on linkedin who seem to like their AI assistants a little too much
@ariadne as long as it happens to non-company ai-assistants we have no leeway
@ariadne this is actually the one use case for AI, they're like a grease trap for sexual harassment
@ariadne I enjoyed the film.
@grahamperrin can we get to the 'find out' part of the film where the AI sex bot wants to kill the person giving the bot the """turing test"""

@ariadne I can't remember it was """a while ago""".

I do remember liking the architecture, the woodland setting, and so on, although I wouldn't really want to live anywhere so sterile.

@ariadne I'd take Ex Machina over this timeline. The robot wins and the techbros get their comeuppance.
@ariadne Ex Machina was a good movie, the only unrealistic thing was that the techbro was the cautious one and didn't get bamboozled by his creation.
@ariadne "does that movie have a 'happy ending'?"
