There are a lot of dead kids in Iran and Palestine for that matter that would be alive today if you guys had made a better choice, not to mention the effects of his cruel foreign aid cuts. At least 23 million children stand to lose access to education, and as many as 95 million people would lose access to basic healthcare, potentially leading to more than 3 million preventable deaths per year, but I'm sure that's a sacrifice you're willing to make.

Reading all these comments with great interest, and while I'm not as quick as you all here, or as adept at explaining a point, might I ask HakeemG what he ideal US posture/policy/candidate would be JUST regarding Israel?

I'm in my mnid 60's and I could never understand the US's blind support for them (while understanding I DONT understand the complete history of that region) and reconciling the thought of "how can a people who have been through all they've endured, turn around and try to elimninate (and succeed in grabbing land of) Palestinians?

Zionism is an ideology that is a direct copy of the american colonial project and had very little support from Jews when it was first proposed.
