Hi #fediverse. We need to talk about something.

While talking to a colleague about how I recently learned most people have never sat on a cow it came up that she has never sat on a horse. Like, not even once during childhood.

Another colleague admitted they also have never sat on a horse.

My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life sat on a horse.

note: the question is not "have your rich parents paid 50.000 of your local currency on gloriously expensive horse lessons and then you went on a skiing holiday". The question is: "have you sat on a horse".

Mini-horse = horse

Pony = horse

Cow = not horse, wrong thread.

And yes, as many people point out: that school-trip to an inner-city petting school where all six yr olds sat on Alfiiiii!! the sturdy mini-horse = yes, I've sat on a horse.

I've also sat on a chicken but that was an accident and neither of us enjoyed it.

@rdfhrn @Pepijn yes, we both survived. But there was a lot of upset yelling on the part of the chicken.

@moz We used to have lots of chickens ourselves. So I can well imagine the noise it made. @Pepijn
