land of the hidden fee, home of the slave

scrape up enough to live, maybe have'ta skip the shave

no PLUR at the workplace, might try a rave

kickin' against the pricks, shadows nicked from Plato's cave

planned my own wake, swam to shore on the wave

long walk down a dirt road, this path yew don't pave

can't hold my body down, not the State nor the grave
