I always have thought the police would be doing good by maybe increasing their presence, but truthfully after reading this article I understand that to be a figment of my imagination that actually led to more deviance against the system, not less. #so345
dizzywind_@darkside11 Totally, it's kind of hard to believe that so many people in these environments have to plan accordingly to when their is a higher population of police in a specific area. The tactics they use like "cool off the block" and "innocence signals" are pretty fascinating, considering all of these come from the presence of police. #so345
ILoveDawgsWoof@darkside11 Yes, as people are more cop-wise, they become more fearful of the police and what they are doing in certain communities. Police often increase their presence in communities that they have already shown a bias for, perpetuating systems of fear and violence, instead of being helpful. #so345
