SO expensive and the port selection is like really mid
they made a prebuilt desktop with soldered ram
most of the repairability aspect ive seen of it is people using the mainboards as a sort of SOC type shit, to integrate into other things which, you could just do that regardless
oh my god the mainboards on their own are more expensive than my laptop

@mocha I think most of the appeal is that they invest quite a bit into making Framework owners feel like part of a "community" (sorta like Apple) and provide a stable standard-ish platform for people to tinker with (sorta like Raspberry Pi).

Plus being able to like… replace the hinges / battery and not have buggy boot firmware seems pretty nice.
