@cabel I picked up one of these at a yard sale ~10 years ago for $2. Fast forward a few years and I’m a parent, and the demo song somehow became my young daughter’s stuffed animal lion’s favorite song, in the way that such things happen. That song is now “Franklin’s Song” in my house. Whenever it plays, Franklin dances his heart out.

@cabel Had one when I was a kid. The oddest feature of that was how you could use it as a synth by storing values in the calculator mode’s memory.

@cabel @vl_tone I had a toy Casio that played American Patrol as its demo... it's shape/size reminds me of the VL-1 :D!
