October 19th 2024, 7:45 am. I sit down in front of my desk at the office and start my day. But after 5 minutes, the automated daily Slack message for failures comes in. The coffee on my desk is still steaming as I brace myself. I realize it’s gonna be a very long day. The number just stares right back at me: 1218 failures.
