basically to just self host small independent websites that don't have any ads, (almost) no javascript, and are for whatever you want to show on there.

May even be self-hosted on a raspberry pi or mini vps.

Basically just screw all of the big corporate shit, like e.g. their design guides and trends, ... and just have fun with the web again.

Oh and most of it is built entirely without any framework what so ever and good old @selfhtml with a pinch of CSS on top.
