After about 4 months, I finished my draft for this chapter when the last one ended on a cliffhanger! Damien is taken to a staff-only room by his former manager for questioning about his disappearance and sudden return.

Juna and Piroska try to investigate without blowing their covers as being digital beings from another world. Piroska gets caught up in conversations to try to get intel about the incident that took Damien to Techlandia while Juna tries to infiltrate where the meeting room he was taken to.

This chapter also introduces another named character; Glorinda is one of Damien’s former coworkers, and has an interest in the paranormal. She wants to investigate the cause of incident and the earlier one, but her goal also conflicts with the OSes trying to keep their cover.

I published this chapter a while ago, but was waiting to publish a new character article along with this post, and I’ve mostly been in a lurking mood lately 😅
