Is there a word for seeing someone on the street or in the cafe who looks like someone you knew 20 years ago, but they look like they did back then? I mean, like if you transported back in time to what they looked like when you knew them?

Anyway, there’s a young woman in this cafe who looks just like someone I used to know. A little bittersweet, tbh.

@mitten A few years ago I was getting off a plane and my heart skipped a beat because I saw the *back* of someone’s head who I was sure was my (younger) dad waiting for me despite the fact I was in a different city and he would’ve have been allowed past security.
