@artfulrobot @timnitGebru I bounced off her last series for similar reasons — it's mostly just a classic technology program that's very in awe of how fridges and air fryers work, but then it applies that format to food delivery apps, and while there's for sure some interesting tech in there, I don't recall it addressing the politics or shady practices of these companies. They try to focus on the tech and end up making propaganda for pretty nasty people. It's a whole approach to tech journalism that just hasn't made sense for at least 15 years
