Trump's National Counterterrorism Center director Joe Kent resigned over the Iran war, the first Trump administration official to do so. "I cannot in good conscience support the war in Iran," Kent wrote. "Iran posed no direct threat to our country, and it is clear we started this war under pressure from Israel and its influential American lobby."

Trump responded by calling Kent "weak on security" and his departure "a good thing." "Iran was a huge threat, every country understood that." #Iran

@noelreports Even though I find Trump's administration disgusting,you can't just ignore the danger posed by the Iranian regime.This regime not only enslaves its own people but is against everything democratic and non-Islamic.And it's not always just about whether Americans are in danger,this arrogant,selfish worldview of these people already demonstrates that.What does he expect now?That someone will pat him on the back and say:"Good boy, you did a great job."The regime doesn't care who it hits.

@noelreports By now, everyone there has been attacked, even though they openly chose not to help in any way. That should make it clear that this regime doesn't want peace. They only know terror, and anyone who thinks they can negotiate with such people will wake up one morning to find a nice mushroom cloud on the horizon. No need to spread panic, but we shouldn't ignore reality.
