Honestly, these things are the worst kind of weakeners / energy vampires, reminiscent of the most irritating people you could ever wish to meet, all up in your face and poking you in the chest and demanding your attention, the people who make them must surely know this

@rhodri.biz @MikeFromLFE I wonder if Signal has an app small enough yet to run on my phone without closing / freezing almost everything else, including my health monitor.

@mjr @rhodri.biz @MikeFromLFE i run Signal in a 4-year old cheap phone without any issue and even low consumption despite i use it for most of my voice calls at my phone

@mjr regarding signal i use the official version of it (either through Guardian Fdroid or google play it has the same name as yours and it weights 162 Mb) and Molly (for another signal account). I use a Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro. I have checked battery consumption in the last 8h and it is quite low(even phone app is greater)

What do you use for notification?There could be the difference...As i have and android mobile so far i am using official notification system(but not showing there the messages)
