"It’s kind of a challenge to sit through all of one side of that Iannis Xenakis LP, Persepolis. It’s stunning, I still love this music. I don’t know what my 16-year-old self made of it, but it was exciting to discover it. We were listening to Pierre Henry, Bernard Parmegiani, Luc Ferrari, a lot of musique concrète and 20th century high modernism. It was such a journey, and something settled, even if it’s only a desire to explore and make connections."
