There are no tourists in these shots of #Venice, which makes them look even more surreal. The streets are empty because my girlfriend and I got up early to see the sun rise over San Marco Square.

And I don't know who the couple taking wedding pictures is. I saw so many people taking pictures like that in the square that I had to document them somehow. It was great to walk around the empty streets, and I loved how beautiful this city is without any interference.

These are some of my favorite pictures from the week I spent in Venice in early 2024 with my Canon F-1 and Cinestill film. That was almost two years ago to the day.
