The resistance against age verification is growing.

There's now a dedicated Linux distro that stands against it. 😼🗿

Ageless Linux Emerges to Protest OS-Level Age Verification Laws

And thankfully, it's more than just a Linux distro without age verification.

It's FOSS
@itsfoss why is it that big of a deal tho? Just set your age to be idk maybe 25 y.o. and move on with your life.
@_xchgd @itsfoss becouse this is a framework for future os ID checks after everyone has implemented this they tighten the law. And also the law itself is so vague that alot of people dont even know how you can follow it.

@joonq @_xchgd @itsfoss Yeah the current wording of the law in Colorado for example is *VERY* bad, as it indicates that the distro needs to enable age (identity) verification using a data or biometric profile as set, dynamically, by a "competent agency".

Such a federal agency could, for example, physically require upload of driver's license to validate age in the system.
