grechawI need to talk about unionization, because my workplace is doomed if the execs don't stop dithering in a fantasy. Most of me wants to find another gig where the atmosphere is more professional, but that idea seems at risk generally, and a union is the real path forward. Work controls all of the communication channels among employees - so how does one even get a foot in the door for organizing a bunch of remote, dejected workers (many of whom are comfortable in meaningless mediocrity). Doug in Portland@grechaw own your own channel for communicating. Steal lists from the company owned comms channels and invite the people you trust most to the union channel. From there elevate the b@@ch sessions by pointing out who is responsible for making work suck. Ask how to change their minds thru solidarity.
