I watched the film yesterday starring my favourite actor Cillian Murphy - a painful, brilliantly made film set during the Irish War of Independence and the Irish Civil War, with powerful performances from the entire cast. It captures the harshness, division, and the human cost of war in a deeply moving way.

We should learn from history and choose peace.
