Perhaps the uncritical use of LLMs in our FOSS ecosystem is a symptom of burnout in our maintainers and projects.

perhaps a lot of the motivation behind FOSS was only ever to signal virtue to (potential) employers, and now those same employers want you to be proficient at using LLMs.
