so the (not that) old radio clock thingy somehow stopped synchronizing time with dcf77. maybe züri is just a bit far away (but it used to work?), maybe there is a bit too mich noise in the apartment now?

anyways, after thinking of solutions to fix this, it appeared to me to just google "ntp to dcf77" and ofc that exists, and it worked immediately, and now we have on somewhat accurate clock again

@siliwan nominal range is 1000km around frankfurt iirc and we should be well within that, but maybe there is some noise source on 77kHz (popular with power supplies these days)
