Dams@teacherbuknoy In malais, bawang is onion, but too be fair, bawang putih (white onion) actually means garlic… so not that far off.
One question, what does seguro means in tagalog?
Mona⁷@dams @teacherbuknoy Siguro is a paradox, because it is used as in the term "surely" as in "Surely you mean this and that". But in some usage when posed as a question it also means "Maybe".
@pixiecata @dams To add, "seguro" with an E also means "insurance" in Tagalog, but it came from Spanish.
