@yossy ok so the story's a bit of a WIP bc I'm still writing it but Mliny is a Gôm politician born in Ofsaathit province. She moved to the north of Adafis Province when she was very young (22 at the time) and about 3 years into transition after the death of her dear mother Delilah with her 3 year old sister Helen. She really missed her mother, she still kinda does. (cont.)
@yossy Anyway she met a girl named Lexi (25 at the time) who came from the Stãtyc region, and they became good friends fast. She moved into this Lexi's house and started caring for the house's vegetable garden. This is when she started to become curious about Adafis law, which she saw needed some urgent reforms, specifically with bureaucracy and wait times for extremely urgent things, and with the way finances were moved in the government, which was scrambled since a recent(-ish) war. @yossy anyway she took on an old hobby of her mother's (essay writing) and made an essay on how she'd try to fix Adafis (and general Gômtjerbe) issues. She was going to throw it away, as she was convinced she wasn't going to be listened to, but Lexi, who she started seeing romantically at that time, suggested she go out, try for an election and fix the things herself. While she didn't win that year's election, she did manage to become popular among some groups, (cont.)
@yossy such as people with chronic illnesses or anyone who's ever had to get emergency surgery. this is why in the following election in 2015 (while she was 27) she managed to become Adafis regional president. she managed to fix the budgeting issues and decided to amplify foreign trade of materials abundant in Gômtjerbe such as gold, which is so common it's used in currency even today. anyway she had a good term and was reelected in 2020, where an old friend of hers became (cont)
@yossy regional president of Ofsaathit. during these two terms she dealt with a good amount of loneliness (due to having very little time to be with her girlfriend and her sister). Anyway she managed COVID-19 pretty decently, and resigned shortly after the end of the pandemic due to physical and emotional exhaustion, asking for the people to vote for another president for Adafis. She got to spend time with Lexi and Helen and was happy, although the physical fatigue still remained.
@yossy anyway this is where the huge battle hammer-axe (which I know is not exactly a battle axe but uhh. oops) comes in. Mliny met in 2025 a small immigrant girl, just barely 18. this girl, Cathy, whom you might know from being one of my blorbos, really liked knives, to which Helen suggested she try blacksmithing. Due to Cathy being decently good at it, and due to Mliny being in a chuuni era (which Lexi found really cute btw) she commissioned Cathy for a big hammer-axe. (cont.)

@yossy i don't draw Lexi often and her design varies quite a bit sometimes but whenever I get home and refill my fountain pen I'll draw her :3
