At first I was like: yeah looks kinda impressive

and then I remembered that "gamers" exist and what they'll do with it 🤮

And also what it will do with artists in the industry 🤮

@karolherbst As is, it's changing the artist's intent. So, I don't like it.

But if the technology can be fully controlled and fine tuned by the artists, then it could be interesting.

@cwize1 we all know where this will be going and the "most useful application" will be "okay sure artist, whatever you say, but we also have DLSS 5 and I actually want to give you less money if at all, sooo.. maybe you finish that model in the next hour or you can go? how about that instead of wasting my time"
@karolherbst tbh this is Nvidia using ai money to do a thing nobody cares about. Gamers don't like it, I doubt studious do either. This is just Nvidia giving the gaming market crumbs imho.
@pac85 I'm sure EA will love it
@karolherbst it doesn't really help you shipping games. This stuff only ships on ultra high end hw, they can't rely on it being there. It's strictly more work to integrate and make sure it does something useful. Much like any other NV tech I'd expect NV will pay some studios to integrate it and that's it.
