Which historical person would you think would be possibly awesome to have online today?

I’d go with old von Neumann. That guy would have eaten science creators for breakfast:) I mean he did it to guys like Teller and Ulam.

@yon sreve jobs so he can lambast tim cook constantly
@nethack I think we could have used some of Jobs’ way with words right now, Apple and otherwise.
@yon I think I'll go with Nikolai Tesla. Just to watch his brain explode at the absolute wizard that history made him into. Spoiler alert, he made a lot of outrageous claims towards the end of his career because he was having trouble securing funding.

@TheMNWolf Wireless transfer of energy over long distances, oh yeah.

Which is the one I can remember. As you say he made lots of statements, some which doesn’t make much sense.

He’d fit in with the rest of them these days in that aspect. But what a bummer to have your name on the Nazi car. At least Ford put his own name of his.

@yon
Tough question! I had to think hard what person would be interesting to observe specifically online.
Friedrich Engels challenging the left and the right would be tasty.

Sidenote: you mentioning Ulam reminds me about his, Mazur's and Banach's legacy in Lviv, Ukraine.
One still could visit the restaurant where they originated lots of ideas and turn them into a game of minds. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Book?wprov=sfla1
