okay, timeline cleanse. I love this particular small canyon. Last time I went out to it, I lost the trail a couple of times due to snowy patches. Today the trail was fine. I think I like it so much because you're going up and down typical foothills terrain and you come around a bend and boom, it spits you out into a long windy dry river bed, with a bunch of these picturesque large boulders- many more than in this shot. And you walk out along the river bed 1/4 mile or so to a dif. trail.
