Yes. I would agree with her. There is nothing redeeming about it, truly a trash movie, the plot feels like something someone realized might be needed after the action scenes were shot, it’s hammed up and bad. A great bad film to watch with friends no doubt, but it was horrible.
ZoteTheMightyStill, it had the honor of being the best videogame movie for about a decade. It wasn’t a highly competitive superlative, but it was the winner.
While there are better parts of Tomb Raider, I think they deserve to lose a few points for trying to be a serious movie and failing, whereas Doom was very much a dumb action movie and knew it during filming.
