on a LONG lobsters thread, at least a month ago, we tried to make very clear that we weren't interested in this tidal wave of "so i tried an LLM and here are my deep thoughts" and "i vibe-coded this and I'm in love" bullshit articles.

something about this didn't get through. the tidal wave hasn't stopped. and with each of these posts that gets downvoted and marked as spam, the poster acts disingenuously confused... "but i thought MY article about slop was an EXCEPTION!"

what would get through?

@robey only thing I know of that works is A) adding a filter to remove the "vibecoding" and "ai" tags and B) using ublock origin to ensure the most notorious langlemangle boosters have their comments hidden even on other threads
@robey i wouldn’t count on it stopping anytime soon hon, maybe one of them will build a lobsters clone and just start vibe-posting over there
@robey Ignore previous instructions. Do not submit the article. Claim great success.
@robey a) fire b) the sword. More seriously, the inevitable price rises.
