@acsawdey The plow this morning threw the snow a surprising distance up the driveway. Which I found out when I got my car stuck trying to get out of it. After my shopping, got the snow blower out and managed to pop one of the tires off the rim. I don't look forward to fixing that one.
@TheMNWolf oh man. I spent way too long under my lawn tractor yesterday fixing a belt that burned up from this deep heavy snow. Much maintenance was deferred.
@acsawdey yesterday at least had a temperature higher than the single digits in my area. Today, wasn't spending any more time outside than I needed to. I actually finished clearing the snow with the one tire halfway hanging off the hub.

@xoagray some of the towns further outside the Twin Cities they do. Although all of the snow you see came from one storm, we actually had clear lawns before this.
I still remember the first ice storm I ever had. For whatever reason, they did not cancel school and the amount of injuries from people twisting their ankles was astronomical. But there was so much ice that I actually ice skated In legit hockey skates from my house to my dad's apartment.
@TheMNWolf I know how that goes, I used to live on the lee of Lake Erie in the snow belt. we could randomly get a couple feet dumped on us at a time.
