@iFixit Now, Andy Harding from Salem Techsperts said the display panel still seems to be soldered on to the lid of one he took apart (I think?), and he said there's some reason why upgrading ram isn't possible, again, on the one he got. But he's still blown away anyway.

Maybe it's different in Europe than the US. And I feel like maybe this was being planned before the US federal election, because you know the feds would demand forced obsolescence to make us peons pay more.
