Let’s be honest here, warships won’t help to reopen the strait. The danger is coming from Iranian rockets being shot from the coast at ships. Warships in the strait are sitting ducks - we’ve all read about all those military exercises showing that. The only way to reopen the strait is to somehow degrade Iranian military capability at the coastline. And that is a long coastline with a lot of hiding spots which were prepared for exactly this scenario by the Iranians for years. So no European warship showing up there will have any effect except being sunk.
