*smile* That field is just so wide and, most importantly, still alive and kicking; some not so well placed rumours notwithstanding. So, even today, I find I can discover new gems to enjoy while allowing some oldies to provide enjoyment for me

A thought: Over the years I've found that SF stories, like so many other art forms, are often deeply rooted in the culture where they were created. Seeking out SF from other cultures - German, French, Russian, Mexican, Vietnamese, ...exciting

@kiwi2002 Like crime fiction, which also covers a multitude of sub-genre, SFF is massive and culturally so rich and diverse. It's still the place for ideas, something I love about the all-encompassing genre.
