Yesterday, I spent some time at the nearby playground with my grandchild, enjoying the blissfully warm sun and strong breezes and the shrieks of joy from their first time on the big-kids swing.

Tomorrow, we expect to have around 8 inches (20cm) of snow on the ground.

By the weekend, that snow should have mostly or entirely melted away.
