Dave Slusher - Tech StuffVeronica was a friend of mine. She will be greatly missed in this area and state. The way she modeled advocacy was a perfect example of "just show up and keep showing up." She was generous to a fault with her time and energy. The only thing I wish she'd done differently is be willing to let others know how sick she was. It would have been a gift to say goodbye and tell her directly how much she meant to her face. I would like to think we told her enough for the message to sink in.
