@drwormau I looked it up once and you can buy the extruding machine from China and open your own factory! There's lots of similar products such as OLW Cheez Cruncherz from Sweden or Wotsits Crunchy from UK (not surprising considering PepsiCo owns Walkers and Smiths). I've also found delicious, spicy MSG-packed equivalents in Turkish and Arabic shops.
@sinjut I’ll have a look on aliexpress and see if I can have an extruding machine delivered. The wotsist crunchy are similar but taste odd compared to Twisties. Whenever I visit, the nasty law dictating tax taking 🙃, Europe I try and pick up a pack of Fonzies, they’ve had some wild flavours over the years. peanut seen a bit anachronistic with the number of people that have severe nut allergies these days. All that said nothing hits like the original Cheese Twisties.
