Montreal filmmakers win big at the Oscars with animated short The Girl who Cried Pearls
The Girl Who Cried Pearls, by filmmakers Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski, won for best animated short film at last night's Academy Awards. Szczerbowski gave a shout out to "the fantastic city of Montreal" in his acceptance speech.
