I was in a building that had a name ("The <<insert name of big company here>> Tower"), and I didn't know the street address. Picked up the phone. Person on the other end asks me where I am. "Stuck in the elevator in Company Tower"
"Where's that?"
"Ummm, y'know, sort of downtown"
"No, I mean what's the street address?"
Turned out she was in a call centre in India, and neither of us had any idea where I was.
@mothninja It wasn't all that dramatic in the end. I called the person I was supposed to meet and explained where I was. He was able to find the street address, though it took him a minute because everyone thought of the building as <<company tower>>. The person at the call centre in India did something that I prefer not to think of as a remote reboot of the elevator and my journey continued. @Oaktag
