I just had the brilliant idea to start cataloguing my library in a spreadsheet with ALL the fun info so I can see the stats for the books I own. This will most likely take several months to do because I know I have over 1000 books. I just don’t know how many more.

These are the categories I currently have:
- Title
- Author Lastname
- Author First name
- Year of Publication
- Publisher
- Edition (HB, PB, BB)
- ISBN
- Genre
- Country
- Author Nationality
- OG Language
- Special Edition

@artsy_cici If you have tracked all your books in Goodreads, you can get an export as a csv from there. It should contain most of that information. But going through books is also very fun 😊

@mormund that’s good to know but unfortunately I only have 500 or so books in there (only started tracking it a few years ago) and I also do not own all the books I’ve rated, but that would at least maybe save me a lot of effort for 1/3 of the books! Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind when I actually do start :)))
