The dog lives by prisoner of war rules. He's in a struggle with his captors and it's perfectly allowable to sneak, steal, sabotage, and try to escape at any time.

This morning I caught him following the example of The Great Escape and tunneling his way to freedom, so I threw some bricks in the hole to stop him.

Tonight I got a message from the neighbour (thanks Matt!) that's he's on the loose again. Apparently a determined beagle can tunnel through bricks, under a fence, and therefore make his getaway. #Dogstodon #GreatEscape

@thomasbeagle is he intact? My dog was very hard to keep at home until he had the snip.
@podsrover He's a beagle, the only way to stop his drive to roam would be to chop off his nose. (But yes, his little beagle balls have been removed.)
