yay #zerobaseone is continuing! 🥳 as a 5-member group

To me, there are some surprises when it comes to who's remaining in the group: Hanbin, Jiwoong, Matthew, Taerae, Gunwook.

I really was expecting 4 of those 5 to consider solo careers (with Gunwook being the exception), and I'm delighted that they're staying together as ZB1.

Curious to know what Zhang Hao and Gyuvin will do next.

(Less curious about the other 2, but there's no hate -- they just don't interest me as much.)

I'm also really curious about the reasoning behind who's doing what now, and wondering if we'll ever find out. It seems the 4 who've left are all "returning to YH Entertainment" whereas the other 5 were all from different companies originally. I wonder if YH Entertainment intends to group the 4 returnees together again.

@lookitmychicken my friend here is super into ZB1 and specifically Matthew, so I had already heard this from her a series of breaking news bulletins, haha. I'm glad they're staying together and continuing, at least the five of them! It always seemed so mean to me that they had a two-year limit on their contract and no guarantees anything would continue after that.

@villainousfriend in a way, I thought it was good that they had a 2-year limit on their contract, cos I heard that wakeone was not necessarily a great company. but they seem to have done good things with zb1.
