I think they're going to be looking for another Barnaby soon. My suggestion: Bring back Cully Barnaby, whose acting career never took off, so she got fast tracked into CID and now returns to Causton as a newly minted DI. They could recycle/update old Miss Marple scripts to save on writers. :P #MidsomerMurders
