I also added a keyword for a fungus that makes allegedly tasty vegan cheese but don't have a link for it which is buried in my feed reader from sometime last year lol. I've just been coming across a lot of "fungi are awesome" content while researching radiotrophic fungi and now idek anymore what the story is even supposed to be. It's a radiation absorber! It's a forest ecosystem rebooter! It's a cheese-maker! Neither plant nor animal, iiiiit's... fungus!
