Sculpting some planarians and doing a serviceable job of it
I think three is enough for this project
I need to give them their trademark crosseyed look, but my silicone sculpting tools are in the ceramics studio.
Here goes nothing
No catastrophic failures
Pretty good!
The planarians are multiplying
The planarians found their home
Today was one of those days where I did a whole lot of work without a whole lot to show for it, but planarian vase is mostly done other than some touch-up work, so that's something
One other thing to show from today: a high fire wild clay test! This was a mixture of Salton Sea clay and lake Elsinore clay with homemade grog
I know some people at PlanoSphere who would LOVE this! https://planosphere.stowers.org/
@MLE_online
@scottcain is this like a academic research lab focused on planarians?
@MLE_online What do you call a group of planarians? I'm gonna guess 'a can' 😆 I gotta can of planarians right here.
@MLE_online are those the first lizards to be on land or whatever
@MLE_online Very nice, reminds me of those little wiggly worm on a string toys :)
@MLE_online now you can make brass planarians!
@MLE_online I didn't see how you dealt with bubbles... tap? shake? vacuum?
@RueNahcMohr tap and shake. I got some bubbles, but not bad, and this is for clay, so that won't really matter as much
@MLE_online Planarian upside down cake?
@MLE_online me and the gang heading to the gastropod-gastropub
@discatte this seems like a SpongeBob gag
@MLE_online @CosmicTraveler I have absolutely no context for what this is or what is happening, and I refuse to click to learn because in my mind you are snake mafia and these three were getting their cement shoes.
