Going off the ycombinator discussion too, it certainly looks like it… I was hoping for some announcement for increased investment into an open source ecosystem, got an ad for a shady whitelabeled nextcloud host instead.

Yeah, same as that W thing was trying to do. It’s just a Nextcloud instance with a fancy domain name.

That might not be a bad thing though. If people get off Dropbox and Google and start using Nextcloud I’m a fan, even if they did it for dumb reasons.
