@jitterted I've been likening it to teenagers and sex. Everybody's talking about it. Everybody thinks everybody else is doing it.

The difference is that when I was a teenager we talked about lots of other things: music, movies, LEGO, sports, etc. With “AI”, it has sucked all the oxygen out of the room for discussing _anything_ else.
