Please don't boost genAI slop into people's timelines...even for jokes.

In fact, given there's no algorithm here, it's better to boost people who are engaged with the community and actually thoughtful and creating their own work than to boost posts of people who scrape images from "viral" places, not even bothering to give attribution.

@ai6yr I hope people give some thought to it. I know not everyone can spot genAI stuff, but asking where an image comes from in the first place is just good online and information hygiene.

@Mikal Yeah, if I miss something, I do unboost when I find out. I also tend to then inspect the acct and see if it's blockworthy. I write a note to remind me why I blocked, ha. :)
