@andycarolan Me, for one. I don’t have a pile of shame. I have multiple piles of shame. At least a couple dozen unopened sets, some of them over a decade old.

Checking the returned sets for completeness would be a bother, though.

My brother is a massive AFOL. He does charity work getting sets into children's hospitals, and has been invited to Billund a few times.
...and he has a loft full of kits that he's not started yet. Literally dozens.
